Anasazi Series

Inspired by a trip to the Grand Canyon, the Anasazi Series represents the early inhabitants of the canyon. The Anasazi evolved from the Desert Culture
some 4,000 years ago and inhabited the rim and inner canyon. Karis's work hopes to capture their life, living in such a colorful and dramatic environment
shaped by the Colorado River and steep canyon walls. This work is an acrylic and paper (collage) series, including photo images the Anasazi must have
encountered in their everyday life.
